About this role

IT-hunter is looking for a hands-on Senior Go Backend Developer to design and develop backend services for a construction management platform. Fully remote position.

Description

IT-hunter is an IT recruiting agency. We are looking for a hands-on Go developer for a technology platform for construction management — not a manager, but an engineer capable of independently designing and writing key services of the product.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop backend services from scratch
  • Make technical and architectural decisions and implement them in code
  • Build microservice and event-driven architecture
  • Work with PostgreSQL and system performance
  • Ensure reliability, observability, and approaches for future scaling
  • Conduct code reviews and gradually influence the engineering practices of the team
Requirements

Requirements

  • Strong commercial experience in Go development
  • Deep understanding of concurrency: goroutines, channels, context
  • Experience with graceful shutdown, background workers, profiling
  • Microservices, stateless services, Sync/Async interaction
  • Experience with event-driven systems
  • Strong PostgreSQL skills: schemas, indexes, transactions, MVCC, isolation levels, query optimization
  • Experience developing production systems where performance, reliability, and observability were critical
