Join Avenga as a Senior Python Engineer to develop and maintain AI-based backend services using Python and FastAPI in a remote setting.
Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain AI-based backend services using Python and FastAPI
- Design and implement REST APIs and integrations supporting AI solutions
- Integrate and work with Azure AI Services and Azure AI Foundry
- Containerize applications using Docker and support deployments in OpenShift environments
- Create and maintain GitLab CI pipelines for automation of build, testing, and deployment
- Collaborate with frontend developers working with React / Next.js as needed
- Diagnose issues, optimize, and enhance the reliability and performance of backend services
- Participate in delivering AI solutions for bank employees in a corporate environment
- Engage with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI-based solutions

- Advanced proficiency in Python and FastAPI
- Practical experience with Azure AI Services and Azure AI Foundry
- Practical knowledge of Docker and OpenShift
- Experience with GitLab CI and basic CI/CD pipeline setup
- Bonus: Experience with Next.js / React
