- Extend Circle's in-house blockchain systems infrastructure to support tokenization.
- Analyze requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing systems.
- Build and own scalable microservices for reliable and secure APIs.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to design, test, and shape Circle features.
- Troubleshoot program and system malfunctions to restore normal functioning.
- Build publicly accessible APIs for developers to integrate with payment systems.
- Integrate Platform Services with leading banks and financial technologies.
- Write infrastructure to deliver great payment experiences.
- 6 years minimum professional software development experience in object-oriented languages like Java and Go.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field (or equivalent).
- Led teams (2-4) technically on architecture and system design.
- Experience working with payment systems like credit cards and bank transfers.
- A broad understanding of RESTful API design and development principles.
- Experience with Cloud Services (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, etc).
- Experience with SQL databases and designing schemas.
- Proven experience in the design & deployment of production-quality, scalable software.
- A focus on coding standards and code quality with a desire for great test coverage.
- Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate with remote teams.
