As a Tax Manager within BPM's International Tax practice, you will help clients navigate the complexities of an increasingly global business environment. Working with multinational corporations, closely held businesses, and high-net-worth individuals, you will provide strategic guidance on cross-border tax matters, helping clients manage risk, maintain compliance, and capitalize on international growth opportunities.
- Manage and review international tax compliance engagements for U.S.-based clients with foreign operations.
- Review U.S. international information returns, including:
- Research and analyze international tax issues involving cross-border transactions, foreign entities, tax treaties, and global business structures.
- Coordinate U.S. tax requirements with foreign jurisdiction tax considerations.
- Support clients with international tax planning and consulting projects.
- Review work prepared by Associates and Seniors and provide technical guidance and coaching.
- Manage multiple engagements, budgets, and deadlines while maintaining high-quality client service.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships by serving as a trusted point of contact.
- Stay current on changes in U.S. international tax legislation and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members across the United States and internationally to deliver integrated client solutions.
- Assist with business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the International Tax practice.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or EA
- 5+ years of public accounting tax experience with a focus on international taxation.
- Experience serving U.S.-based clients with cross-border operations.
- Strong background in U.S. international tax compliance and reporting.
- Knowledge of multinational corporate structures and U.S. international tax concepts.
- Experience working with foreign entities, cross-border transactions, and international reporting requirements.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining exceptional client service.
- Experience mentoring and developing junior professionals.
