An international IT company is expanding its DBA team, seeking specialists in ClickHouse or Greenplum. Relocation to Cyprus is available.
An international product IT company that develops and supports high-load projects for large companies, primarily in the entertainment online services sector, is expanding its DBA team.
Depending on your specialization, tasks will be related to ClickHouse or Greenplum:
- Support and develop the architecture of data storage and delivery systems;
- Administer and maintain existing clusters;
- Participate in the design of data warehouse architecture;
- Optimize database performance, SQL queries, and data schemas;
- Configure replication, sharding, and backup processes;
- Configure and optimize databases for high load;
- Develop monitoring systems;
- Troubleshoot complex incidents, identify causes of performance degradation and data issues;
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams.
For ClickHouse DBA:
- Practical experience in administering ClickHouse;
- Deep understanding of ClickHouse architecture: engines, indexes, replication, sharding;
- Experience in configuring and optimizing ClickHouse instances;
- Proficient knowledge of Linux, SQL, and Bash;
- Experience with monitoring systems.
For Greenplum DBA:
- Practical experience in administering Greenplum;
- Proficient knowledge of Linux;
- Experience with high-load systems;
- Proficiency in one of the scripting languages;
- Understanding of replication, backup, and database monitoring principles.
