About this role
International IT company seeks a GreenPlum DBA for high-load projects, offering relocation to Cyprus and various benefits.
Description
An international product IT company that develops and supports high-load projects for large companies, primarily in the entertainment online services sector, is looking for a GreenPlum DBA.
Responsibilities
- Support and develop the architecture of data storage and delivery systems;
- Administration of Greenplum DBMS, Kafka, Debezium;
- Performance tuning of OS, JVM, and hardware (we use Bare Metal);
- Selection of server configurations for new projects and expansion of old ones;
- Organization of monitoring databases and data buses, configuring them for high loads;
- Setting up database replication and backup;
- Configuring security and access levels to infrastructure.
Requirements
- Experience with GreenPlum;
- Confident knowledge of Linux OS;
- Knowledge of one scripting programming language.
