Dvtrading is hiring a Fixed Income Operations Analyst for a remote role. Responsibilities include managing Fixed Income Ops workflow, mitigating credit risk, and optimizing trade workflows.
Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day Fixed Income Ops workflow, primarily working with the repo desk.
- Mitigating credit risk by monitoring Treasury and MBS exposure.
- Oversee trade monitoring and reconciliation of repo positions.
- Ensure Repo trading activity is accurately imported into the back-office system.
- Serve as a liaison between internal and external parties.
- Optimize end-of-day balances at BMO and BNY banks.
- Maintain and update financial records.
- Support with MBS rolls, pairoffs, and confirming trades.
- Verify GCF trade details and reconcile them with DTCC records.
- Contribute to projects focused on optimizing trade workflows.
Requirements
- 4+ years of Fixed Income experience in the financial markets industry.
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
- Experience with Excel required; VBA, SQL, and/or Python preferred.
- High level of critical thinking and strong communication skills.
- Proven track record of success in team settings and independently.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently.
- Understanding of broader business context.
- Expected start time of 7am ET, with potential coverage as early as 6am ET.
- SIE and Series 7 or willingness to obtain within first year.
