- Manage the UI direction — Frontend development and Design team of 80+ people
- Manage team leads and develop the management layer within the team
- Develop developers and leads: conduct assessments, provide feedback, build individual development plans, and mentor
- Build and improve development processes
- Enhance the quality of development and engineering practices
- Control deadlines and quality of task implementation
- Decompose and evaluate tasks from the business
- Participate in the architectural design of the company's products
- Work with technical debt and technical documentation
- Participate in Code Review and formation of engineering standards
- Build interaction with adjacent teams and the business
- Develop hiring processes and participate in selecting strong specialists for the team
Requirements
Requirements
- Experience managing a large development team — from 40 people, including team leads
- Experience managing not only individual developers but also team leaders
- Strong technical background in Frontend development
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript and good understanding of browser operation specifics
- Understanding of micro-frontend architecture
- Experience designing complex, high-load web applications
- Experience building hiring, onboarding, technical interviews, and employee development processes
- Experience growing developers to Senior / Team Lead level
- Ability to systematically build development processes in a large team
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work with multiple teams and stakeholders simultaneously
- Ability to make decisions and maintain effectiveness under high workload
