Alfa-Bank is looking for an Integration Platform Developer with 3-5 years of experience in Java and Spring Boot. The role is remote and involves developing integration adapters and ensuring data storage and reliability.
Responsibilities

- Develop integration adapters with external sources (REST, SOAP, JDBC, Kafka) according to project templates: mapping configuration, XML→JSON conversion, validation by JSON Schema
- Design and implement data storage: DDL ClickHouse (ReplacingMergeTree, deduplication, partitioning), Kafka topics, and cache in Redis if necessary
- Implement fault tolerance for integrations: retry with backoff, Circuit Breaker, Rate Limiting, DLQ, fallback to outdated data
- Develop REST data facade: point, batch, and portfolio requests, asynchronous loading, freshness metadata
- Participate in architecture development: choose implementation type (microservice / Airflow DAG), assess load profile and capacity, document ADR
- Configure monitoring and alerts based on metrics (latency, reuse rate, consumer lag), maintain CI/CD pipelines

- 2-3 years of commercial development experience in Java 11+ and Spring Boot: configuration via application.yml, profiles, Actuator
- Experience with Apache Kafka: producer/consumer, partitioning by key, consumer groups, delivery semantics (acks=all), DLQ, lag management
- Proficient in SQL; understanding of columnar DBMS
- Willingness to quickly learn ClickHouse: MergeTree family engines, FINAL vs argMax, partitioning, materialized views
- Experience with REST and SOAP integrations: timeouts, retry with exponential backoff, error handling; working with JSON and XML (conversion, JSONPath/XPath, XSD)
- Understanding of fault tolerance patterns: Circuit Breaker, Bulkhead, Rate Limiting, fallback strategies
- Experience with caching (Redis or similar): cache-aside, TTL, justification for cache inclusion by metrics
- Understanding of contract versioning: JSON Schema, BACKWARD compatibility, experience with Schema Registry is a strong plus
