About this role
Join Alfa-Bank as a Data Scientist to enhance our Antifraud platform using advanced ML techniques. Analyze transactions, validate models, and drive improvements in financial security.
Description
We are developing an intelligent financial flow security management platform. Our ML solutions assess transactions in real-time for fraud, compliance risks, and other undesirable actions.
Responsibilities
- Immerse in the business context of the restrictions platform, studying available data and existing infrastructure.
- Analyze current business processes, identifying vulnerabilities and growth points.
- Experiment with various machine learning approaches: classification, clustering, uplift models, ranking models, and neural network solutions.
- Compare experimental model results with current solutions, evaluating their pros and cons.
- Validate models using offline metrics (AUC, PR curves, NDCG, uplift metrics, etc.), ensuring statistically significant accuracy improvements.
- Prepare an analytical article or report detailing the comparison of each method and justifying the choice of the optimal solution.
- Deploy the best tested solution into production, ensuring its integration into the existing restrictions management system.
Requirements
- Higher technical education.
- 2+ years of experience in Data Science. Experience in deploying models to production.
- Proficient in Python, advanced SQL, PySpark is a plus.
- Extensive experience in solving classical ML tasks: boosting, regression, ranking, classification.
- Statistics, A/B testing, knowledge of optimization principles, understanding of the methods used.
- Ability to present complex solutions in a business-friendly manner, proactivity in identifying growth points and generating new ideas.
