Description
Crypto Finance Group, part of Deutsche Börse Group, provides professional digital asset solutions to institutional clients. The Group comprises Crypto Finance AG, regulated by FINMA in Switzerland, offering trading, custody, and wallet services, as well as Crypto Finance (Deutschland) GmbH, regulated by BaFin in Germany, offering trading and custody services. In January 2025, Crypto Finance secured a MiCAR license for the European market as one of the first providers in the EU. Crypto Finance AG is a SIX-approved crypto custodian for ETP issuers.
Responsibilities
- Enter and perform plausibility checks on audited financial statements within our internal rating model, in line with Moody's methodology.
- Prepare assessment summaries for counterparties in Word, building on prior-year documentation and analyses.
- Collaborate closely with the Risk team to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of all assessments.
- Support ongoing quality assurance activities within the risk assessment process.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of balance sheet and financial statement analysis, gained through coursework or previous practical experience.
- Understanding of common financial ratios, such as liquidity, capital adequacy, and refinancing metrics, is considered an advantage.
- Highly diligent and structured working style, with a strong attention to detail and a low tolerance for errors, as the output directly supports risk-related decision-making.
- Strong Excel skills, including the use of formulas and financial data models.
- Fluent written and spoken German and English, with the ability to prepare professional Word-based reports.
- Demonstrated discretion and professionalism in handling confidential financial information of counterparties.
- Interest in cryptocurrency and financial market regulation is a plus, but not required.
