About this role

Arrington Capital is hiring a full-time Investment Analyst to join their research team. The role involves fundamental analysis, generating investment ideas, and engaging with developer ecosystems in the crypto space.

Description
Arrington Capital is a digital asset management firm primarily focused on blockchain-based capital markets. The firm, founded in 2018 by TechCrunch and CrunchBase founder Michael Arrington, has invested in hundreds of startups across the world. Arrington Capital is a seasoned, international team composed of Silicon Valley veterans and operators with deep venture capital experience and crypto native roots. Arrington Capital’s first fund was Arrington XRP Capital, and has expanded to multiple funds over time.
Responsibilities
- Project due diligence - Generating trade and investment ideas - Analyzing and tracking market catalysts - Systematic segment analysis - Competitive technology analysis - Detailed token economic modeling - Joining project communities - Contributing to written research
Requirements
- University degree (STEM preferred. Economics & business applicable) - Strong writing & communication abilities - While not necessary, competency in blockchain-based languages (such as Python) will be highly regarded.
Conditions & Benefits
- Compensation includes a salary and discretionary, performance-based annual bonus. - The role is fast-moving and will be split between ongoing research projects and time-sensitive, on-demand analysis. - The Fund is remote-first with coverage across both Asian and US time zones. - The team works unconventional and often flexible hours.
