Aston is looking for an MLOps Engineer/Team Leader to manage a team of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and MLOps. The role involves ensuring compliance with banking production processes and participating in architectural decisions.
Responsibilities

- Manage a team consisting of DS, DE, MLOps
- Ensure compliance with banking production process requirements and standards
- Interact with project managers and internal clients
- Participate in architectural decisions regarding the implementation of models and data for modeling
- Evaluate labor costs and deadlines, decompose tasks for the team
- Control the quality and deadlines of task execution
- Perform Code Review, participate in acceptance testing
Requirements
Requirements
- Experience as an MLOps Engineer for at least 5 years with a desire to grow into a leadership position, or experience as a Team Leader/IT Team Leader for at least 2 years and experience as a Data Engineer for at least 3 years
- Experience in development using Python
- Knowledge in Big Data (Hadoop, Spark)
- Experience with databases, confident knowledge of SQL
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Understanding of CI/CD principles, Gitflow, release management
