Bell Integrator is looking for a Python Developer to work on microservices development and enhancement in Moscow office. Join us to build innovative solutions and improve service performance.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Development and enhancement of microservices, their interaction via REST and Kafka; participation in solution design with the team
- Refactoring, improving performance and fault tolerance of the mailing service
- Development of the logic for the email constructor and personalized communications
- Development of content adaptation mechanisms for user profiles; among the development areas — AI functions for generating personalized emails
- Participate in designing service interactions: discuss their responsibilities, APIs, and event contracts
- Develop asynchronous microservices on FastAPI
- Implement Kafka event processing: delivery guarantees, idempotency, reprocessing; apply team decisions for data change coordination and event publication
- Use code agents for development, maintain project rules and skills, review and refine generated code
- Write unit and integration tests, conduct code reviews, document technical solutions
- Work with logs and metrics, participate in diagnosing and fixing project service errors
- Participate in task decomposition and estimation, accompany until implementation; interact with analysts, QA, and frontend developers

- At least 3 years of commercial development experience in Python and relevant IT education
- Strong knowledge of Python and asyncio: asynchronous I/O, concurrent execution, understanding the impact of blocking code
- Practical experience in developing services on FastAPI, implementing REST APIs and participating in their design
- Experience in microservices development, implementing interactions between multiple services. Understanding of service architecture
- Proficient in SQL and PostgreSQL: transactions, indexes, query plans. Experience with ORM
- Practical experience with Redis: caching, TTL, and cache invalidation
- Experience with Docker, application logs, and metrics; participation in diagnosing errors and production incidents of your service
- Practical experience with Apache Kafka in production. Understanding of delivery guarantees and message order; implementation of idempotent processing and protection against duplicates
- Daily work with code AI agents: for example, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and others in agent mode
- Ability to sequentially conduct tasks along the agent path: decompose work, manage context and sessions, set constraints and readiness criteria
- Ability to use and adapt AGENTS.md / rules and ready skills for project tasks
- Understanding the purpose of MCP and ability to use available tools through ready connections
- Ability to explain generated code, verify its correctness, fix errors, and bring solutions to production
