Join Rocket Science as a Python Developer to work on AI/Agent platforms, developing backend services and orchestration logic.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Development and enhancement of backend services for AI/Agent platforms using Python
- Design and implementation of asynchronous task-processing pipelines: task assignment, queues, workers, statuses, retries, idempotency
- Development of AI/LLM integrations and orchestration logic: model invocation, result processing, context and task state management
- Building agent workflows using LangGraph or similar orchestration tools
- Implementation of RAG pipelines: context searching, working with embeddings/vector storage, context formation for LLM
- Development of APIs using FastAPI, integration of internal and external services. Working with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka/Redis Streams, and other infrastructure components
- Ensuring reliability of AI tasks: timeouts, retries, rate limiting, dead-letter handling, idempotency, fault tolerance
- Implementation of streaming responses from AI services, e.g., via SSE/WebSocket/Redis Streams
- Observability of AI pipelines: logging, metrics, tracing, Langfuse or similar tools, latency and cost analysis of LLM calls
- Participation in the design of microservices architecture and distributed systems
Requirements
Requirements
- Ability to develop LLM agents and work with skills, memory, tool calling, and complex multi-step dialogue scenarios
- Understanding of multi-agent system principles and ability to establish interactions between agents
- Experience with RAG and retrieval: building search pipelines, indexing, and working with context
- Ability to create and integrate MCP servers, connecting external and internal systems and tools
- Understanding of how to build evaluation, tracing, and quality metrics for AI systems
- Ability to optimize latency, cost, performance, and stability of AI solutions
- Capable of taking the full journey from AI prototype to production: from architecture and experiments to launch, monitoring, and further product development
