Responsibilities
- Work with technical and business teams to develop robust insights, create data narratives and leverage Airbnb’s rich data to define metrics.
- Build advanced analytical capabilities and tools, passionate about solving complex problems with data.
- Execute projects with regular direction; set a roadmap for projects up to a quarter ahead providing constant updates to business stakeholders.
- Ensure the availability of data quality and data integrity for analysis and reporting.
- Perform data modeling for various entities involved in Airbnb.
- Execute ad-hoc reporting, data investigations, and root cause analysis into various operational areas.
- Devise business metric frameworks and optimization models to make optimal business decisions.
- Influence data-driven decisions across global sites and business verticals.
- Experiment with new Airbnb policy/product features to help deter and mitigate risk.
- Influence machine learning models in partnership with DS/Engg teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years of industry experience and an Advanced degree in Business Analytics or other quantitative field.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to conduct rigorous analysis and communicate conclusions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of delivering full stack data projects.
- Advanced level proficiency in SQL/NoSQL, programming languages such as Python, R, SAS.
- Advanced level proficiency in statistical and machine learning techniques.
- Familiarity with EDA, hypothesis testing, significance testing, linear regression, logistic regression, SVM, etc.
- Positive and solution-oriented mindset with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
Conditions
- Base pay range ₹1,960,000 — ₹2,800,000 INR.
