Senior DWH Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance ETL systems that provide data for various domains: sales, accounting, logistics.
• Analyze data and design data structures for the analytical needs of different business units.
• Optimize and monitor data processing pipelines to improve their performance and stability.
• Design and implement scalable data warehouses based on HP Vertica, Trino, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, and Hadoop.

Requirements

• Independence in problem-solving and experience as a key developer on a large project.
• Experience in designing data storage architecture and related ETL processes.
• Ability to work with technical requirements: propose changes and find optimal solutions.
• Good skills in designing and implementing ETL processes, mandatory knowledge of Airflow.
• Excellent SQL knowledge and systematic thinking.
• Experience in developing data warehouses using one of the columnar DBMS: Vertica, Greenplum, Exadata, Teradata.
• Programming experience in Python, including for developing solutions for auto-generating ETL tasks and implementing logical algorithms.
• Skills in Bash and Docker.
• Will be a plus:

- Experience with Spark. - Experience with multiple ETL tools and their use in horizontally scalable data processing systems. - Knowledge in one of the areas: CI/CD, frontend or backend development, development of integration flows. - Desire to participate in project management and bring features to production. - Willingness to develop in mentorship and help other team members.
