Description

Bnovo is looking for a Senior Fullstack QA (Python) to build a risk-oriented testing strategy and ensure secure payment migrations. Remote position with full-time employment.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Build a risk-oriented testing strategy: integration matrix and critical scenarios, contract and integration tests, short release smoke, and manual regression where a real provider is needed.
  • Cover the payment path: gateway connection → payment link → provider status → notification → reflecting payment in internal services.
  • Ensure safe migration of payments: compare results of old and new flows, check phased inclusion and rollback, verify amounts and statuses, exclude lost and duplicate payments.
  • Check internal inter-service interaction chains.
  • Develop test data, provider stubs, checks in CI, and defect diagnostics based on logs and metrics.
Requirements

Requirements

  • Senior experience in testing distributed systems and external APIs; ability to independently determine priorities, release criteria, and regression scope.
  • Strong manual testing and development of maintainable API/integration autotests. Practical Python/pytest is especially useful for the existing test suite.
  • Experience in checking asynchronous processes: webhook, queues, retries, idempotency, event order, and recovery from failures.
  • Work with Docker, GitLab CI, test databases, logs, and metrics; ability to localize failures between services and providers.
  • Experience with acquiring, refunds, two-stage payments, and financial data reconciliation is a strong advantage.
Conditions & Benefits

Conditions

  • Full-time employment.
  • Remote work format.
  • Schedule: 5/2.
