Today, we're going further with [Nino](https://www.usenino.com/), our AI-powered financial planning product that puts expert-level guidance within reach of everyone, not just the wealthy. More on Nino: Elite tax planning doesn't scale. The best advisors serve 50 to 100 households. We're fixing that by turning tax logic into code at Nino. The CPA profession is being reshaped by AI. Not in 10 years. In 2026. You can define how AI delivers tax advice, or spend the next few years adapting to rules someone else wrote. Nino is built inside CoinTracker ($100M raised; partners include Coinbase, TurboTax, H&R Block, Thomson Reuters), with the autonomy of an early-stage startup.Responsibilities
What you will do
- Work directly with clients: proactive year-round tax insights, white-glove delivery.
- Prepare, review, and file individual returns for HNW households (starting $1M to $25M net worth) plus related business returns.
- Own equity-comp planning: ISO/NSO/RSU/ESPP, AMT crossover, 83(b), QSBS, 409A, secondary sales, IPO/liquidity events.
- Help build the Tax Brain: break complex decisions into logic an engineer can code; review AI advice and correct it.
- Solve edge cases: AMT, wash sales, multi-state allocation, QSBS, pass-through optimization.
Requirements
What we look for

- High Agency: You identify what matters, take it on, and own outcomes.
- Exceptional Collaboration: Build high-trust partnerships that make team members want you on hard projects.
- Critical Thinking: Find the real question beneath the surface one, weigh alternatives, and show clear judgment under uncertainty.
- Active CPA license, 4+ years of individual tax.
- A high volume of 1040s prepared, reviewed, and/or filed.
- Equity-compensation depth for private- and public-company employees.
- Experience serving clients with $1M to $25M net worth.
- Logic-driven, tech-forward, low ego, high agency.
- Working knowledge of business returns (S-corp, partnership, Schedule C).

- The starting salary for this position is between $137,400 - $161,600 USD.

- The actual compensation offered will be based on a variety of job-related factors including relevant skills, education, and experience.
- This position also includes equity in CoinTracker and benefits like medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and PTO.
