About this role

Join Unlimit as an AML Manager in Brazil, leading financial crime prevention and regulatory compliance efforts. Competitive salary and hybrid work environment.

Description

Unlimit is the global financial infrastructure for the borderless agentic economy. Designed to bridge the gap between fragmented local markets and the future of autonomous commerce, Unlimit provides the programmable operating layer for the world’s most ambitious businesses.

Through an integrated technology stack, the platform unifies global payment acceptance, programmable financial accounts, and digital asset rails into a singular financial layer. By mapping hyper-local payment ecosystems directly into its architecture, Unlimit enables businesses to move value and settle transactions instantly across continents.

Built on decades of hard-won regulatory depth and an extensive global license portfolio, the platform provides direct access to a massive global infrastructure. With major hubs in London, San Francisco, Singapore, São Paulo, and Mexico City, Unlimit is building the infrastructure that makes global expansion a matter of code, not geography.

Responsibilities

What you will do:

  • AML / CFT / Sanctions Compliance
Act as the responsible Manager for PLD/FT, maintaining direct reporting lines to the Board of Directors/Executive Office as required by Brazilian law. Ensure effective AML/CTF/Sanctions compliance throughout the Brazilian business. Act as the primary reporting agent and correspondent to COAF (Conselho de Controle de Atividades Financeiras). Monitor developments and new trends in the Brazilian and international AML/CTF framework.
  • Regulatory Compliance
Be the central point of contact with the Central Bank of Brazil (BACEN) and other regulatory authorities for anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism purposes. Ensure that the Brazilian business meets its regulatory requirements and mitigates AML/CTF/Sanctions risks to avoid breaches, fines, and regulatory sanctions. Oversee AML compliance regarding participation and membership with local and international payment systems and networks (such as PIX, Mastercard, Visa, Elo, etc.). Prepare periodic regulatory reports required by Brazilian legislation. Assist with regulatory inquiries and inspections, as well as internal and external audits.
  • Transaction Monitoring & Reporting

  • Customer KYC/KYB & Onboarding
Oversee and manage the Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) onboarding processes for new customers. Review and update KYC/KYB profiles for existing customers. Ensure compliance with local Brazilian and international regulatory requirements related to customer identification and verification.
  • Training & Awareness
Prepare and provide tailor-made AML/CTF/Sanctions training for the staff in Brazil. Provide actionable advice and assistance to other operational functions dealing with AML/CTF-related matters.
Requirements

Who we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of effective working experience as an AML/CFT manager or Head of PLD/FT at a payment institution, credit institution, or EMI in Brazil.

  • Experience liaising with bank partners, auditors, and financial regulators (BACEN), with the ability to handle regulatory inquiries, inspections, and audits.
  • Solid experience in drafting, reviewing, and updating AML/CTF/Sanctions policies and procedures to reflect industry best practices and the evolving regulatory environment.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Confidence to interact with individuals from all levels of the business and relevant external partners, including C-level executives.
  • University degree in a relevant field.
