Who we are looking for:
- 5+ years of effective working experience as an AML/CFT manager or Head of PLD/FT at a payment institution, credit institution, or EMI in Brazil.
- Regulatory Expertise: Deep, hands-on knowledge of Brazilian financial regulations, specifically BACEN and COAF rules (including Law No. 9,613/1998 and BCB Circular No. 3,978/2020).
- Experience liaising with bank partners, auditors, and financial regulators (BACEN), with the ability to handle regulatory inquiries, inspections, and audits.
- Solid experience in drafting, reviewing, and updating AML/CTF/Sanctions policies and procedures to reflect industry best practices and the evolving regulatory environment.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Confidence to interact with individuals from all levels of the business and relevant external partners, including C-level executives.
- University degree in a relevant field.
- Language: Excellent English and Portuguese is an absolute must.
- Certification: CAMS or ICA certification is highly preferred and considered a strong bonus.
