Description
Selectel is looking for a Backend Developer to join our Cloud Network Functions team. We develop innovative network services and solutions.
Responsibilities
Main Tasks
- Develop network services in Python and Golang, such as DNS-as-a-service, high-performance load balancers, etc.
- Update OpenStack network components (octavia, neutron), write patches, fix bugs in upstream.
- Review code, write unit and functional tests.
- Conduct research, design architecture for new components.
Requirements
We Expect
- Good knowledge of Python (Flask, SqlAlchemy, Celery, Oslo, Taskflow) and other OpenStack-specific technologies.
- Experience with both small microservices and large monolithic projects.
- Knowledge of networking technologies: difference between VLAN and VXLAN, traffic routing, BGP, ability to capture tcpdump and analyze it.
- Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL/ClickHouse, RabbitMQ, Redis.
- Experience in API design and application architecture, including microservices architecture.
- Experience working with Linux OS.
- Experience and understanding of CI/CD and IaC principles (GitlabCI, Puppet, Jenkins).
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
