About this role
Purrweb is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to work on a project involving cloud-native infrastructure and domain management. Full-time remote position.
Description
Purrweb has been creating mobile and web applications for 12 years. The project is the only domain registration and management platform in Europe on cloud-native infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Kubernetes clusters in AWS (EKS)
- Develop and support GitOps processes based on ArgoCD
- Automate CI/CD in GitLab
- Maintain high availability of services and participate in incident investigations
- Develop monitoring, logging, and alerting
- Work with PostgreSQL, Redis, and OpenSearch
- Maintain and optimize Apache Kafka and Kafka Connect
- Configure and tune PostgreSQL clusters and Kafka
- Analyze performance of distributed systems and optimize their operation
- Collaborate with developers in designing infrastructure solutions
Requirements
- Confident experience in administering Kubernetes
- Good understanding of Docker and containerization
- Experience in operating AWS
- Proficient in GitLab CI/CD
- Experience with GitOps
- Understanding of network, DNS, TLS, Ingress principles
- Experience in operating PostgreSQL
- Practical experience and expertise in Apache Kafka
