- Assist the organization by ensuring cleanliness in all on-site dining areas
- Support maintenance of all beverage stations, food sales locations, and break areas
- Assist with food preparation according to SpaceXAI quality and sanitation standards
- Support proper product rotation and storage according to food safety requirements
- Follow stocking routes, track inventory, and receive and distribute product around the site as instructed by leadership
- Help the team meet time and quality standards set by the supervisor
- Set up, maintain, and break down a daily workstation within a kitchen or service environment
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 1+ years of experience in food preparation, customer service, or other food services support roles
- Valid state-issued driver's license
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to take initiative in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Possession or willingness to obtain TN food handler card (training provided internally as needed)
- Experience working in a high-volume output environment
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook primarily)
- Sound understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work one the following shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed. Schedule will be 4 days on, 3 days off:
- Ability to carry large heavy items, such as dishes in tubs or trays unassisted (up to 30 lbs.)
- Ability to stand for long periods of time – up to 10 hours a day
- Ability to perform frequent bending, stooping, and lifting of objects
