About this role

Join Bee Talents as a Junior/Mid Dispatcher in Poznań, working in the renewable energy sector with wpd windmanager. Full-time position with a salary range of $90K-$150K.

Description

Bee Talents has been building teams in the IT sector and beyond since 2015. We invite you to the recruitment process for our client in the renewable energy sector, wpd windmanager, which provides comprehensive services for technical and commercial management of wind and photovoltaic farms.

Responsibilities

MID:

  • Constant monitoring of the parameters of the power grid, including voltage, current, load frequency, energy production, active and reactive power using monitoring and control systems.
  • Identification and immediate response to network failures or faults, including overloads, short circuits, power outages, and other irregularities, as well as coordination of repair actions.
  • Monitoring and controlling energy flow at the connection point to the grid, its stability, and optimal resource utilization during a 12-hour shift (6:00-18:00).
  • Coordination of technical and service teams during work on facilities (operational, emergency, and repair work).
  • Planning and supervising operational activities of subordinate facilities, such as switching, shutting down, and starting renewable energy plants and equipment.
  • Effective communication with technical teams, distribution system operators, and other external entities to coordinate actions and solve operational problems.
  • Maintaining documentation related to actions taken in managing the power grid, including reporting failures, incidents, and repair actions.
  • Monthly and periodic reporting as needed by the organization.
  • Assessing and minimizing risks associated with the operation of power facilities by identifying potential hazards and developing preventive strategies.
  • Working in accordance with safety regulations and service quality standards.

JUNIOR:

  • Handling phone calls for reports.
  • Maintaining operational documentation, including traffic logs and service books.
  • Monitoring the operation of power stations at wind and photovoltaic farms.
  • Diagnosing failures and preliminary analysis of the causes of faults.
  • Reporting detected failures to the service team.
  • Collaborating with dispatch services in conducting operations according to the Transmission Network Operation and Maintenance Instruction (IRiESP).
  • Working in accordance with safety regulations and service quality standards.
Requirements

MID:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position or in the energy sector (preferably in renewable energy).
  • Understanding of technical drawings and diagrams.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Analytical thinking, independence, responsibility, curiosity, attention to detail, and stress resistance.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Communicative English and Polish (including industry vocabulary).
  • Category B driving license (for occasional trips).
  • Nice to haves: Technical secondary or higher education in fields related to energy.

JUNIOR:

  • Technical secondary or higher education in fields related to energy (preferably with any experience in the industry).
  • Understanding of technical drawings and diagrams.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Analytical thinking, independence, responsibility, curiosity, attention to detail, and stress resistance.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Communicative English and Polish (including industry vocabulary).
  • Category B driving license (for occasional trips).
