Join a rapidly growing studio as a Lead Scriptwriter/Narrative Designer for our mobile visual novel project, Blooming Fates. We're looking for a passionate individual with a deep understanding of interactive storytelling.
We are a rapidly growing studio with a close-knit team of game enthusiasts and developers. Our first project, Blooming Fates, is a mobile application featuring a collection of visual novels. We are actively growing and are looking for a Lead Scriptwriter/Narrative Designer for our interactive stories, focused on long-term collaboration and career growth within the company.
- Develop novel scripts: character development, writing dialogues, scenes, and plot branches, ensuring narrative logic and story integrity.
- Create briefs for artists and composers: prepare detailed technical assignments for artists, composers, and other team members based on the script and artistic vision of the project.
- Lead the department: narrative oversight of the scriptwriting team, assist in creating script documentation, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Editing: review and edit all application scripts for language errors and logical consistency.
- High proficiency in Russian: literacy, rich vocabulary, understanding of dialogue style and artistic storytelling.
- Knowledge of English at least at B1 level.
- Deep understanding of visual novels as a format and high exposure to games, cinema, and animation.
- Experience with any software designed for writing branching scripts (Articy, Ren’Py, Twine, Ink).
- Experience working with spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets).
- Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines.
- Full-time schedule, remote work format, and long-term collaboration.
