Eltex is looking for a Senior Network Architect to evaluate communication schemes, audit network infrastructure, and provide technical support in Novosibirsk.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Expert evaluation of communication schemes developed by end customers or integration companies
- Conducting audits of customer network infrastructure
- Preparing technical specifications for network modernization or building new network infrastructure objects
- Developing communication network schemes and preparing technical solutions
- Selecting equipment for implementing technical solutions
- Conducting testing to verify the functionality of technical solutions
- Supporting project implementation work
- Post-project technical support for customers (via remote consultations)
Requirements
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP stack network technologies
- Knowledge of protocols and technologies used in operator and corporate networks, as well as in data center networks: L2 protocols and technologies: VLAN, QinQ, xSTP, ERPS, 802.1x, LAG/MC-LAG; routing protocols: IS-IS, OSPF, MP-BGP; multicast: IGMP, IGMP snooping/proxy, PIM, MSDP, MLD; EVPN/VXLAN, EVPN/MPLS technologies; MPLS label switching technologies: LDP, RSVP-TE protocols; VPLS/VPWS, MPLS L3VPN, Multicast VPN services; IPSec, DMVPN, GRE technologies; L2/L3 QoS
- Understanding of the principles of operation and construction of communication networks, switching and routing, architecture of LAN construction
- A plus: experience with switches and routers from other vendors
- A plus: experience in operating, designing, or commissioning multi-vendor networks and communication facilities
- A plus: experience working in a provider or integrator
