Responsibilities
Your Role
- Design and develop IaC automations (Terraform, Ansible), standardizing infrastructure processes.
- Manage complex multi-environment infrastructures (on-prem, virtual, cloud), ensuring operational continuity.
- Analyze and resolve complex incidents (L2/L3), identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Implement and manage security policies (hardening, access control, compliance).
- Administer server systems, virtualization, storage, and backup with operational autonomy.
- Optimize performance and capacity of infrastructures.
- Manage IAM with role definition, policy, and advanced access control.
- Administer Cloudflare (WAF, advanced caching, rate limiting, DNS, security rules).
- Define and monitor KPIs, proposing improvements based on data.
- Participate in architectural design and consolidation processes.
- Draft structured technical documentation and best practices.
Requirements
Who We Are Looking For
- Solid experience in managing IT infrastructures and production services.
- Excellent knowledge of Linux systems and system troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of networking and protocols TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and TLS.
- Experience in managing virtualized environments.
- Solid experience in automation with Ansible and managing infrastructure configurations.
- Practical experience with Terraform and principles of Infrastructure as Code.
- Good knowledge of Bash and Python; PHP is a plus.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD systems.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems; knowledge of the ELK stack.
- Knowledge of key aspects of infrastructure security: hardening, permissions, secret management, firewall, and access control.
- Ability to work independently, tackle complex problems, and collaborate effectively in a team.
- Practical experience on public cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform: Compute, VPC, IAM, Storage, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Monitoring.
- Experience in designing or managing hybrid infrastructures between data centers/private clouds and public cloud.
- Knowledge or practical experience with Kubernetes, including deployment, service, ingress, RBAC, storage, troubleshooting, and observability.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD, GitOps, or equivalent tools.
- Experience with Cloudflare, CDN, WAF, load balancers, and reverse proxies.
- Knowledge of Postfix/SMTP, mail relay systems, or email gateway.
