About this role
Red Panda Games is looking for a Scriptwriter / Narrative Designer to help develop a cowboy vs monsters game with deep AI integration. This is a part-time remote position, initially unpaid for portfolio work.
Description
We are Red Panda Games, an emerging studio. We are working on a game about cowboys against monsters with deep AI integration in gameplay. The project already has an authorial vision, narrative structure, and character sketches. We are looking for a scriptwriter to help develop these materials into detailed descriptions and game texts.
Responsibilities
- Write and refine game lines and dialogues for specified situations.
- Develop characters: traits, motivations, and backstories.
- Turn initial character descriptions into detailed documents following the existing structure.
- Work within the established universe, adhering to its logic and authorial intent.
- Suggest additions and improvements, discussing them with the project author.
Requirements
- Experience in scriptwriting.
- Ability to create lively dialogues and convincing characters.
- Experience working with fictional worlds, including fan fiction; experience creating your own universe is especially welcome.
- Good familiarity with classic RPGs and CRPGs, understanding the genre and its narrative features.
- Willingness to work with detailed briefs and agree on results step by step.
Conditions & Benefits
- At this stage, payment is not available; work is for portfolio purposes. After securing investments, a small salary may be possible.
