Join METASCAN as a Senior Python Developer in Cybersecurity. Work on enhancing core system components and vulnerability scanning modules in a fully remote role.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Refine base classes and unify code, enhance internal framework
- Deploy numerous new vulnerability search modules using our framework as a wrapper
- Optimize code performance, particularly API, model, and Elasticsearch queries
- Implement base classes for the vulnerability scanner framework in Python3
- Develop a testing system for the modules
- Create new platform modules as wrappers over utilities/containers/APIs (nuclei, patator, wpscan, specific PoC exploits)
- Write tests (unittest/pytest) and technical documentation
- Conduct code reviews
- Participate in architectural decision-making
Requirements
Requirements
- Experience in product development with Python3
- Experience with Django, DRF
- Experience with Celery
- Experience with MySQL, Elasticsearch
- Good understanding of Linux (systemd, iptables, bash)
- Understanding of Docker - image building, running, debugging
- Experience with Git commit/pull request policies
