Responsibilities
- Test mobile and backend/API scenarios for AI assistant or risk profile
- Help build infrastructure and write tests in Python for ML components
- Maintain existing automated tests in Java for mobile end-to-end scenarios
- Verify client-server interaction, authorization, error handling, statuses, degradations, and fallback states
- Work with checklists, test cases, regression, smoke, exploratory testing, and defects
- Validate scenarios where AI results may vary and do not reduce to a single expected text
- Document AI defects for reproducibility: prompt, model/version, context, input, output, trace/request id
- Consider privacy/security constraints when handling medical and user data
- Collaborate with Product, Backend, ML, Mobile, SA, and analysts to help the team make informed release readiness decisions
- As the product evolves, assist in forming compact regression checks for AI scenarios
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Python
- Experience in testing backend/API: REST, HTTP statuses, authorization, validation, errors, contracts, asynchronous scenarios
- Experience in testing mobile applications iOS/Android or readiness to work confidently with mobile contours
- Test design: equivalence classes, boundary values, state transitions, negative scenarios, exploratory testing
- Ability to work with sniffers/proxies: Charles, Proxyman, mitmproxy or equivalents
- Ability to verify data in databases: PostgreSQL/MySQL or equivalents
- Skill in writing reproducible bug reports with environment, steps, facts, expectations, logs, and request/trace id
- Understanding that AI testing is not limited to "checking one expected text"
- Ability to document reproducible AI defects: prompt/model/version/context/input/output/trace
- Understanding privacy/security constraints when handling medical and user data
- A plus: experience with Java Core (Selenide, Rest Assured, JUnit5, Appium)
- A plus: experience in testing chat/assistant, recommendations, scoring, personalization, or data-heavy products
- A plus: experience with logs, tracing, monitoring, and production diagnostics
- A plus: experience in API automation in Java/Kotlin and integrating tests into CI/CD
- Basic understanding of API and/or mobile test automation is a significant plus
