AQA Fullstack with a focus on manual testing

Responsibilities

• Interact with stakeholders from development, business management, and application support
• Analyze requirements and testing requests, develop test cases
• Manual testing of WEB applications and APIs
• Functional, regression, smoke, and unit testing of web services
• Log and analyze errors
• Collaborate with development teams to fix bugs
• Document testing results and support release cycles
• Identify areas for automation and develop automated testing
• Develop and maintain automated tests
• Participate in the development of CI/CD processes and integrate automated testing into the pipeline
• Participate in load testing
• Work with monitoring, logging, and journaling systems to analyze application behavior and find error causes
• Currently, the ratio of manual to automated testing is approximately 65/35. In the next 2-3 months, the main focus will remain on manual testing due to the active implementation of new features. In the future, they plan to increase automation to 40-50%
• WEB is the main focus of the position, this is a key platform with a large number of users. Mobile testing is also required but currently occupies a significantly smaller share
• Programming skills in Java and/or Go are especially welcomed. Some services are written in Java, some in Go, so a QA familiar with both languages is particularly valued. A basic level of Go is also acceptable.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of practical experience as a quality assurance specialist, primarily in the financial sector
• Strong experience in manual testing of WEB applications, please detail in your resume where you have WEB experience
• Experience in API testing using Postman, Swagger
• Experience in test automation using Java; willingness to develop automation and gradually increase its share in work
• Willingness to work with Java and Go (in searching and analyzing errors in code, etc.)
• Understanding of the principles of building and working with automated tests
• Experience with CI/CD processes and test automation tools
• Experience with bug tracking systems
• Ability to write SQL queries
• Experience with Grafana
• Knowledge of ELK Stack and experience with logging and monitoring systems
• Willingness to participate in load testing
• Experience with programming and automation tools
• Ability to multitask with a large number of parallel tasks
• Willingness to work in a team and effectively interact with several development teams and related departments
• Experience in investing and a deep understanding of the stock market
• A plus:

- Experience in testing mobile applications will be an advantage - Programming skills in Go will be an advantage; candidates with a basic level of Go are welcome - Understanding of distributed tracing principles and request identification, including understanding Span ID / Trace ID or similar mechanisms will be a plus.
