About this role

Join Coinbase as a Prime Operations Assistant to support operational workflows for Prime customers in a remote-first environment. Contribute to billing, contract management, and customer onboarding while driving efficiency in financial operations.

Description

Ready to do the most impactful work of your career? At Coinbase, we are uncompromising on our mission to increase economic freedom. The bar is high, the environment is intense, and we like it that way. This isn't a place for complacency, it’s a place to be pushed past your perceived limits. If you're ready to build the future of finance alongside people who refuse to settle for "good enough," you belong here. Coinbase is a remote-first, but not remote-only company. Expect to get together quarterly for intense in-person working sessions called “surges.” As a Prime Operations Assistant on the Custody Product Ops team within Institutional, you'll support the operational workflows that keep Coinbase's token management platform running for Prime customers.

Responsibilities
  • Reconcile billing and subscription records, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate collections follow-up to maintain accurate revenue operations across the Prime customer base.
  • Manage MSA intake and agreement workflows through Ironclad, track signatures and renewals, and maintain complete contract records for all active accounts.
  • Coordinate TLS and Vesting Platform onboarding for new customers, triage Pylon inboxes, and deliver timely communications throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Prepare token distributions, support grant setup and M2M migrations, and execute controlled lockup coverage in accordance with documented approval requirements.
  • Maintain SOPs, reporting methodology, and canonical operational datasets, flagging opportunities for automation and escalating policy questions to designated owners.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in operations, financial operations, contract administration, or customer operations within financial services, fintech, or digital assets.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent workflows with consistent accuracy, including billing reconciliation, subscription tracking, and record maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience with operational tooling such as Ironclad, Pylon, CRM platforms, or subscription billing systems.
  • Familiarity with KPI tracking, data hygiene practices, and documented controls sufficient to maintain reporting across revenue and customer metrics.
  • Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
