Join Mercury as a Senior Design Manager to lead product designers in evolving core experiences with a focus on AI-native interfaces and exceptional product quality.
Description

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and evolve Mercury’s interaction philosophy, focusing on AI-native, conversational, adaptive, and proactive experiences.
- Set an exceptional bar for product quality across the Interfaces organization.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of product designers.
- Shape product strategy alongside Product and Engineering.
- Stay close to the work using critique, prototyping, exploration, and hands-on collaboration.
- Help raise the craft and product-thinking bar of Mercury’s broader Design organization.
Requirements
You should:
- Have exceptional product taste and strong visual and interaction design fundamentals.
- Have a strong point of view on AI-native interfaces and be curious about future developments.
- Be a craft-obsessed design leader with experience in leading product designers.
- Think about interactions as systems and create reusable ideas.
- Be a strategic cross-functional partner to Product and Engineering.
- Operate independently with a strong point of view.
