Senior PHP Developer

Responsibilities

• Design clean application architectures.
• Deep refactoring of existing codebase.
• Optimize performance at the intersection of PHP, MSSQL, and messaging queues.
• Ensure technological quality of the product.

Requirements

• Architectural skills and code culture (expert level):

- Deep understanding and practical application of patterns and principles: mastery of GoF, SOLID, DRY, KISS, YAGNI. - Clean code and refactoring: confident skills in decomposing monoliths, systematic elimination of technical debt, and refactoring complex, tangled code without violating business logic. - Architectural approaches: experience in designing systems using DDD, CQRS, and Hexagonal Architecture.

• Backend stack (PHP & frameworks):

- PHP 8.x: deep knowledge of the PHP engine, fundamental understanding of memory management in PHP. - Symfony 7.4+ & Laravel: expert knowledge of both frameworks.

• Data handling and DBMS (T-Shaped / DBA-like level):

- Deep knowledge of T-SQL & MS SQL Server. - Database performance optimization: thorough understanding of index principles.

• Asynchronous interaction and DevOps stack:

- Apache Kafka: experience in building event-driven architecture. - Docker & Kubernetes: confident in containerization.

• Testing and tools:

- Testing: coverage of code with quality tests (PHPUnit). - Profiling: experience with performance analysis tools.
