About this role
Join Astra Group as a Support Engineer L3 in Moscow. Work with virtualization platforms and troubleshoot system issues in a hybrid environment.
Description
Termidesk is a multi-platform product of Astra Group for secure remote work: creating virtual workspaces on any virtualization platforms and managing the lifecycle of VMs.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process requests from 2nd line support, including on-site work
- Troubleshoot problems and incidents in system operation
- Escalate requests to RnD and developers if necessary
- Develop scripts for process automation, data migration, and system functionality improvement
- Support the corporate portal, write articles and instructions
- Analyze and model non-standard integration cases of Termidesk with the IT infrastructure of potential clients
Requirements
- Experience with virtualization platforms based on qemu/kvm/libvirt (OpenStack / PC SV Brest / oVirt / zVirt)
- Understanding of VDI principles and protocols SPICE / VNC / RDP
- Experience with bash / shell / python / powershell
- Knowledge of Linux (Astra Linux / Debian / CentOS) at the administrator level
- Experience administering Microsoft products (AD, RDS), experience with PostgreSQL
- Understanding of network service principles (TCP/IP / DHCP / DNS)
