What You Will Do
- Lead your squad and ensure end-to-end delivery of features.
- Supervise a squad of backend, frontend, or fullstack developers in close collaboration with a PM/PO.
- Ensure feature delivery while respecting Product priorities and quality standards.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to maintain optimal delivery rhythm.
- Encourage team skill development by sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of excellence.
Technical Leadership
- Define and drive backend and frontend architecture choices to ensure system scalability and performance.
- Implement and promote best development practices (testing, CI/CD, documentation).
- Collaborate with QA to ensure robust deliverables that meet quality requirements.
Development and Innovation
- Design and develop critical features by optimizing the backend (NestJS, Postgres) and frontend (React Native).
- Oversee production deployments and ensure application stability.
- Propose improvements for better system performance, end to end.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Participate in discovery workshops with PM/PO to design technical solutions aligned with user needs.
- Maintain smooth communication with other squads and Tech Leads to manage technical dependencies.
- Contribute to product vision by providing technical expertise and recommendations based on insights.
What Is Required
- At least 5 to 8 years of fullstack development experience, including at least 2 years in a Lead or Tech Lead role.
- Expertise in JavaScript (TypeScript), NestJS, GraphQL, and good knowledge of React Native.
- Strong mastery of relational databases (Postgres, Prisma).
- Proficient use of GitLab CI, Jira, Confluence.
- Experience with cloud environments (ideally GCP) and CI/CD tools (GitLab).
- Sensitivity to best development practices (testing, security, documentation).
- Understanding of technologies and processes related to financial systems is a plus (Banking as a Service, Core Banking System, secure authentication, or mobile wallet solutions).
Leadership and Collaboration
- Experience in managing and mentoring a technical team.
- Ability to rally around standards of excellence and support developers in their progression.
- Comfortable working in a product-oriented approach and collaborating effectively with PM/PO and QA teams.
- Comfortable in multidisciplinary and agile environments.
