About this role
Join an international IT company as a Lead Python Developer, focusing on backend services for high-load projects in online entertainment.
Description
An international product IT company develops and supports high-load projects for large companies, primarily in the field of online entertainment services.
Responsibilities
- Design architecture and develop backend services for data storage and processing
- Ensure technical quality: code review, development standards, testing, documentation
- Develop the Python developer team: participate in hiring, mentor, distribute and decompose tasks
- Integrate internal and external systems, design REST/gRPC APIs
- Create tools for data flow management and infrastructure automation
- Collaborate with DevOps to establish CI/CD, deployment, and observability: metrics, logs, alerting
- Participate in technical planning, timeline and risk assessment, interact with adjacent teams
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial development in Python, including 1-2+ years in a Team Lead / Tech Lead / Lead Developer role
- Experience designing high-load distributed services
- Deep knowledge of SQL and experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and other DBMS
- Confident working in UNIX and command line
- Docker + Kubernetes: images, manifests/Helm, deployment
- Experience building unit/integration tests and code review culture
- Understanding of observability: Prometheus, Grafana, or similar
