About this role
Aiven is seeking a Lead People Partner to consult C-level executives, develop people strategies, and mentor People Partners in a hybrid role based in Helsinki.
Description
Aiven is an international technology company developing a cloud platform for open-source technologies and multi-cloud solutions.
Responsibilities
- Consult C-level and VP leaders on team, talent, and employee development
- Develop people strategy in collaboration with department heads
- Oversee talent development, succession planning, career tracks, and performance calibration
- Assist managers in taking responsibility for team development and results
- Work on leveling, total rewards, and DEI at the leadership level
- Plan team size and structure for 6-12 months ahead
- Mentor People Partners and participate in the development of the People function
Requirements
- Experience as a Senior HR / People Business Partner at the executive level
- Experience interacting with C-suite and VP-level leaders
- Experience building strong teams and working with talent density
- Practical experience in succession planning, career frameworks, and performance calibration
- Ability to combine strategic work with solving complex performance issues
- Willingness to constructively challenge senior leaders' decisions
- Experience in mentoring and developing colleagues
